DMC:D did proc while Mirror of Truth was active, so they get along, clearly they don't share a 45 second cooldown. Same with DMC:D and DMC:G together!

This actually looks to be a slightly better trinket than either grim toll or the greatness card for rogues after the 3.2.2 ArP nerf.
